"Charles B (Byron) Claudson, better known as "Buster" was born and raised in Arnold, NE. He married Ruby E. Maxon and lived on Garfield Table south and west of Arnold in a grain ben on his mother (Lillie E. Smith) and father's (Luther M Claudson) farm the first several months. I don't know when they moved to Colorado but Buster was a barber in Ft. Collins, CO for years. They had one son, Billy Dolan Claudson. Loyal M. Claudson was an older brother, Laverne Claudson was a younger brother and Effie E. (Claudson) Coleman was his little sister. N. Marie (Eastburn) Claudson was married to Loyal M Claudson. Please note that Loyal M and Luther M should not have a period after the M as it was not an initial per Lillie Claudson, my Grandmother. I am one of Effie's daughters. In later years, Charley & Ruby moved back to Arnold to retire and most people around Arnold knew him as Charley, only the old timers remembered him as Buster. When his Billy got his Doctorate he told his mother he was going to change his name to William as he didn't think Dr. Billy D. Claudson would sound right. Also, Luther had 2 brothers, Walter and Everet. Everet lived in Wyoming and he too had a son named Charles. Everet's Charles was also married to a Ruby so we had two "Charley & Ruby" Claudsons in the family although we rarely saw the Wyoming Claudsons'." - Nadonna Louise Coleman
